So I have the dreaded sleep study on July 2. I will hate this part!  I already know I can't wear the cpap or bipap and have a letter from last ENT to prove it.  But still have to do this stupid test.

I had my psych eval today and it went good!  I was nervous that he would say no but he said he thinks it would be good for me.  Also had diet meeting tonight and I need to stop weighing myself on other scales except theirs.  I weighed myself with hubby Cardio appointment and it said I lost more weight than when I did my weigh in today.

But on the plus side I did lose 2lbs (whoopie) since my last meeting and 1lb since meeting the surgeon last week.

Just got home from meeting with surgeon. Thinking surgery will be in about 2 months or so. She decided I would be good candidate for the gastric sleeve. I have to lose 10 pounds before surgery. I cannot wait to get this started and hope I do well.

I finally have my appointment with the surgeon on June 2nd!! 

So before I was seeing a Nutritionist at Kent State that my Dr sent me to see before I even got insurance.  I had 3 visits and when I finally got insurance and decided to pursue my WLS journey I asked the nutritionist to please fax all my paperwork to surgeon to see if the insurance company will use it towards my 6 month medically supervised diet.

It has been a month and surgeon office claims they have not gotten the paperwork yet!!  I had already called 2 weeks before to remind the nutritionist and they still haven't done it??  Someone is screwing up and this is just prolonging my 6 month.  By the time they get it I will be half way with the surgeons 6 month of meetings.  Of course no one at nutritionist is returning my calls.

Cardiologist called and said I passed my stress test with flying colors!!  So he will send report off to surgeon to say heart fine for surgery.   I  need to get back to tracking my meals.  I also called today about joining a gym. 

Well went to the cardiologist and their scale said I gained 2 pounds if you go by medically supervised meeting weight or 9 pounds by nutritionist scale. I know each scale is different. Stress test is scheduled this week so that will be taken care of. I still need to meet the surgeon and her team.  Seems like I'm doing things backwards.   So weigh in with meeting was bad. I gained 5 pounds.  I am so disappointed with myself.

I've been pretty bad about following my diet lately.  Makes me wonder if I will make it when I finally have the surgery.  I know I can do this but things have been so stressful at home.  I do have my appointments setup to see cardiologist and the psychologist.  Still need two more medically supervised diet session before seeing the surgeon.

I'm worried about the sleep study part because I already know I have sleep apnea but cannot wear the cpap machine and have letter from Dr about that years ago.  Hope that does not prevent me from having the surgery.
