Let's Get This Show On the Road

Jul 07, 2009

Had my first fill on May 15th. I'm a little disappointed because I just don't feel the difference. For the first 3 days I felt tight and wasn't very hungry, but man on day 4 I was hungry again and eating like before, just not as much. I still can eat a full sized plate of food without any problems. I do know I will never eat grits again. Man, I thought I was going to die. That's the first and only time I had to run to the toilet thinking I was going to bring it up. At that point I decided I will never eat them again. I'm finding myself getting depressed over the slow progress. I have a 10cc band and so far only 2cc have been put in it. That's a drop in the bucket. I understand I need to be in the "green zone" for the band to be effective. The green zone is when your band is filled to a level that allows you to eat, keep it down, and you gradually lose weight. Well, I'm in the "yellow zone". With the yellow zone your still able to eat just about anything, feel no restrictions, and either not losing weight or very small amts. My next fill date is June 15th. That's next week. I'm hoping they will put 4cc in instead of two. I believe I need a total of 6cc to reach the green zone. It cost $250 each time I have a fill. Would be nice if they would just go ahead and fill me up to 6cc and lets get this show on the road. I'm tired of the weight.
