I started my pre-surgery diet today. I am supposed to aim for ten percent of my weight and lose it before surgery....makes me think that apparently the dietcian didn't really understand why I was doing this lol. But seriously, started out this morning with some cottage cheese, whole wheat toast and a banana. My problem is , I can't stand food in the morning! Never have enjoyed eating early so that will be something new to get used to.I should get my surgical date this week. Really looking forward to having that date in hand. I feel kind of bad , after reading some of the posts here and how challenging the process has been for so many. I spent about a year examining the process and following one of my good friends that had GBS. He did so well I was convinced. I went to Loma Linda's weight loss seminar on Feb17,2011. By 2-23 I was approved and have completed all of my required appointments. I am very lucky to have to Insurance that I do, my husband is retired Navy so we lucked out there.I will post more when I get my date hope, it's soon!
