"Obesity wing was great, but heart wing did not know how to handle gastric bypass surgery patient in correct manner. I was transferred here after I was not given needed medication in obesity wing. Big error! by nursing staff!!!"

Philippe Quilici

"Dr. Quilici is a fine man and I am glad he performed my surgery. I am very confident he is a very good GBP surgeon! Everything went well. The timing was excellent.rnrnHis office staff is great. They are all very professional in there dealings with patients! rnrn I don't have much faith in \"the fax\", so sent records \"certified mail\" to make sure they received them.rnrnHis dietician \"Julie\" knows her stuff rnrnThe support group is Top Notch! Excellent leadership. Only problem, it is a 3 hour drive one way for me! rnrnrnDr. McVay and Dr. Tovar are great assistants to Dr. Q. They both checked on me a couple of times in the hospital to make sure things were going well.rnrnrnrn"

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

"Cedar Sinai has a great bariatric program and I was treated like a king. The room was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful in the bariatric unit. I was very satisfied with all that happened in the bariatric unit except... except... I WAS NOT GIVEN MY DAILY MEDICATIONS AND THAT RESULTED IN AN UNEXPECTED EXTRA DAY IN THE CARDIAC UNIT. This unit is good too, although I felt the nursing staff was a little on the grumpy side and didn't really want to help me get through this. I also think it is riduculous that "PATIENTS" have to pay for parking and at $14.00 per day. We bought a $30.00 week pass after finding out we would be staying longer. And then found out you have to park out in the "booney" parking lots. The parking lot attendant in the South Tower was NOT going to let us out with paying the required daily fee or a total of $32.00. We were told we were ok to park in the South tower. So better bring your checkbook and pay the piper!!! I hope I won't have to come here anytime in the near future. I hate LA and all the business and traffic and hustle and bustle. Just give me the laid back life of the Southern California Mountains."
