Exercise
My husband and I have both had VSG surgery. My husband had his 10/1/2012 and I had mine on 3/26/2013. He has lost 118 pounds and I have lost 42 pounds for a grand total of 160 pounds. We have a tandem recumbent bicycle we bought for ourselves as a wedding present to us 10 years ago. We had not ridden our bicycle for a couple of years because we had gotten to big to get the bike plus us up the hills. ( Of course, we said that we weren't riding because we didn't have the time.) Well, yesterday we rode our bicycle 21 miles and it felt wonderful to be outside and enjoying each other's company in the fresh air.
He has also been dragging me to the gym for weight training, cardio and water aerobics. Sure do love that man.

That is so awesome! My hubby and I have been bike riding/hiking/going to the gym together alot too...it makes it so much more fun! Wow! 21 miles is EXCELLENT!
Jenn Highest weight: 278. Starting weight: 275. Surgery weight: 253. Month 1: 25 lbs. Month 2: 8.8 lbs. Month 3: 12.6 lbs. Month 4: 7 lbs. Onederland 7/29/2013. Month 5: 7 lbs. Month 6: 5 lbs. Months 7-9: self-induced maintenance, then 5 lb gain.
