Exercise - what's your favorite?

I have yet to find an exercise routine that is not "work" for me - meaning that I have to force myself to do it.  I would really like to find something I really like.  I was just wondering what everyone else's experience is with this.  What do you love...or at least like?

So far Bikram Yoga is the only think that although I hate and is so difficult while I'm doing it, that I'm not also completely bored. (dreadmill, etc did not provide any stress relief for me).

But yoga makes your posture SO GOOD !!! ( and there's good reason guys call a really nice butt a " yoga butt" lol)

I luv bike riding, it's easy on my knees & riding along the path near my house makes for some nice scenery where I can just mellow out, but it can be windy as hell sometimes.

The exercise I like is walking, it's easy to do, I can go anywhere, no one knows I'm exercising & I can work on speed & distance without attracting attention to myself.

Plus I carry around a metro card so if I'm too tired or I get a flat, I can get on the train/bus & go home.

No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another. T-Rebel

I wish I had trails or paths around my area.  If I did I know without a doubt that I would walk more - and probably bike as well.

I love to power walk. I do it by myself so it is me time. I feel so much better when I do it. If I don't I feel lost.

I can do 4 miles and I can feel like I can do more. 

Helps me clear my head to.

I also like bike riding when the weather is nice.  We have a nice forest preserve near by and go there and bike ride.  Unfortunately, I live near Chicago so half of the year the weather doesn't permit.

I think about activity rather than exercise. A Fitbit is a wonderful invention. I aim for a certain level of activity by the end of the week.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I somehow have managed to not get a fitbit yet.  Maybe I need to change that...

You should!! I started with an inexpensive fitbit Zip I got on ebay for $40. I did not want to spend a lot of money on something I was not sure I would use. Since then I have gotten the Charge and recently upgraded again to the Charge HR.

I love love love using a fitbit. It has really made me much more active. I gave my Charge to my mom when I got my HR and she has gotten a lot more active, too. I have kept my Zip and use it when I want to clip it on my bra or when my Charge HR is not charged up.
