What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
WOW I have boring menu as I prepare to leave town for a week. I have to eat up all my protein in the fridge so I am pretty much having the same 3 or 4 things every single day. Hopefully your menus are more inspiring!
So, my menu today (warning, it's boring)
Time since surgery: 3.5 weeks
Breakfast: 2 oz Wegman's 98% fat free turkey, 1/2 piece of bacon
Lunch: Morningstar Vegan Grillers patty with one slice of pepperjack cheese, a tsp of mustard and a tsp of ketchup
Dinner: Probably egg salad
Nutrition: I haven't been having snacks, but this only brings me to 564 calories, 11 g carbs, and 48 g of protein. So I see a protein shake in my future.
Exercise/Vitamins/Water - 30 minute walk/good on vitamins so far/at least 64 oz.

Lunch: Lunch meat roll (thin turkey and swiss cheese wrapped around a small pickle spear with mustard)
Dinner: Cabbage rolls (just turkey sausage, cheese and tomatoes/onions wrapped in a boiled cabbage leaf, and then baked).
Snacks: Homemade roasted chick-peas; something else, I'm sure, but I haven't figured it out yet.
