When I get the urge I have half portion of special k cracker chips. My plan includes carbs so I can fit them in. I am maintaining now but even my initial stage after soft foods included 5 low fat Ritz type crackers at lunch.

I usually have the Big size Wheat thins. Each one is 13 calories and 2 carbs. Usually would have like 5 of them with cheese, or egg or tuna salad.

CRACKers have been the downfall of more WLSers than any other single food. They are addictive. You can eat a million of them, with no restriction, and you can eat them all day long. They are wasted calories, with no nutritional value aside from said calories.

There's a reason people refer to them as CRACKers. You think, "Hey, 3 or 4 CRACKers for a snack can't hurt. There aren't TOO many calories, or TOO many carbs." And before you know it, you'll be sneaking a whole sleeve of Ritz (550 cals) into bed at night. You'll have a box of wheat thins hidden under your kid's car seat. You'll start taking money from your best friend's purse, just to buy more CRACKers.

Just say no. Don't eat that first CRACKer. You'll thank me some day.

None. Major trigger food. I know some people can eat them. I would house a box if they were in my kitchen.

I am fortunate that CRACKers do not present a major issue for me (meaning I can have them in moderation) however... most of the time I choose not to have them.  I like dried chickpeas for their crunch (The Good Bean brand) and will also substitute the Kay's Natural brand snacks too.  I prefer to get my protein in.  There are times when I will indulge in a few Ritz with an ounce of aged cheese.  Yummy!
