That is precisely why I step on the  scale every day. I want no surprises. And I even make myself post my weight here. It keeps me aware and focused every single day. I don't weigh when we camp but walk so much then that I usually come home lower than normal. QOTD on pets I have a 7 year old workout buddy,a boxer who was rescued from a puppy mill. Her name is Lily and she keeps me moving and on track. I also have 2 cats a brother and sister pair named Luke and Leia. At Hogwarts I would be a Hufflepuff for sure too. Post op about 46 months and weight at 119 today. Lily and I already have our 3.2 miles in this morning and it's a good thing as it looks like rain now! I will also do 30 minutes on the bike at some point. Here's the food for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey with cheese 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz grilled chicken 1/2 c green beans S Pure protein chocolate peanut butter bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!

You're at the same time frame when the grazing and the "IGotThis-itis" hit me. Kudos for catching it earlier rather than later! I caught it early, but didn't "GAF"..haha...which got me into trouble later on. (I was in a carb downward spiral for a year. ) It's so worth it to act now. YOU'RE worth acting on it now, if that makes sense.

Will post my menu and such in a bit: freaking low blood sugar "attack". Grr.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

Good Morning!

Happiest of birthdays to your son! I never believed people when they said your kids grow up too fast, but here I sit in disbelief that I just sent my baby off to his last day of 1st grade. We're going out with my parents for dinner, so dinner is up in the air.

I too have had a grazing problem lately and do so well with sticking to plan, until about 8P. It just seems to go downhill from there. I also lost my exercise motivation. I've thought about joining WW just for the weekly weigh-ins and the "competitiveness" of it.

QOTD: since I have not read HP, I'll tell you about my dog. He's an English Mastiff named Buffalo (or as we call him Big Buff). It was so much easier to walk him when I was double his weight, now he's weighs about 5 lbs less than me. Luckily he tends to be a "dry mouth" unless he's eating, then he's a huge slobbery mess. He adores our children, especially the youngest, that is HIS baby. We have actually thought about having him certified as a working/therapy dog - the baby seems to try his hardest to talk to the dog, which is really promising with his speech delay diagnosis. Nothing cuter than a 28 lb toddler commanding his 170 lb dog for a treat :) He is so gentle and patient with the children, and very watchful of new people or those he does not see regularly. My husband has to hug them or shake their hand if they've never met the dog before, and he usually still makes sure he puts himself between the new person and the kids until he feels comfortable.

I LOVE HIM!! Chloe is 120 lbs and Stella is about 75 lbs right now. Both as such sucky babies!  Stella really thinks she's a lap dog and climbs up to share the recliner with us whenever she wants!! LOL.

Your dog is beautiful!
