I live in the town with quarry. It is so cool and you don't know where it is unless you live in the area because they don't advertise the location.

The quarry dig sounds amazing! We have a quarry here, too, and every fall they host a 'Big Trucks' fundraiser. They have a bunch of big rigs and fire trucks and loaders, etc. and the kids can just go to town, climbing all over them and digging in the dirt. LMAO That's a good time.

It's vacation eve! VACATION EVE! Grim and I are going on a trip to NYC for 7 days next week, then traveling up to Ithaca the following weekend. We'll be gone for 9 glorious, jam packed days. So tomorrow morning we are packing up and heading into Times Sq., dinner out, then off to see Cats on Broadway :) So it begins...

I have a feeling I'll be posting tons of pics next week, so nothing for me today.

Good morning AV And Menu crew! I had my biometric screening at work this morning, company offers discounts if you meet criteria. I passed with flying colors, though I am considered overweight at 5'11" and 188. Drives me crazy!

QOTD - WE are going on a hike tomorrow. Heading to Cascade and Porter Mountain, near Lake Placid NY. We are starting our quest to climb the 46 High Peaks in the Adirondacks. I am hoping the weather cooperates.

Time since surgery - 21+ months
