Hey everyone!!  It's Friday, which is normally exciting, but I don't want to have too much spare time on my hands.  I did the best to make lots of plans.

The talk with my boss about working from home went as well as I expected it to, he wasn't jumping up and down with excitement over it or anything, but he even agreed it would be good for my head to get out of here.  Ultimately, the decision lies in the hands of the owners of the company, and they are in Hawaii right now.  He's going to hit them up about it when they get back, I should have an answer by Wednesday of next week. I really believe my boss is on my side though .

The plan to move back to Los Angeles is becoming more and more a reality.  I would love to go to Oregon, but I think that may be a year or two down the road.  If any of you guys or gals live in the the Los Angeles area, I would love to have a meet up, I need to make some new friends.

I'm trying to keep busy and my mind off of everything, so I accepted an offer for dinner on Saturday with a friend of mine.   It feels strange, but I know I'll go nuts sitting at the house all weekend by myself.  On Sunday, my cousins are taking me to Lake Tahoe to catch crawdads.  I'm kind of a city girl... all I was told was, "get your country girl clothes and be ready to get wet".  No idea how this all will turn out, but I'm sure there will be lots of hilarity.

Thank you all for listening to me vent and rant, and cry... all the time.  I managed to eat some chicken and veggies last night, I brought some soup with me today.

Here's some more pictures from my trip, my darling, wonderful cousin in Venice Beach made me a protein feast of steak, lobster and grilled chicken.  I didn't eat corn or potatoes:

A good friend of mine in L.A. said I am welcome to borrow his fur children whenever I need them, this is Dierks and Miranda:

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and I hope I have strength to make in through my first weekend back, alone, in Reno.

I think your weekend plans are just what you need.  And I'll be keeping you in my prayers that the owners are amenable to letting you work out of LA.

Also?  Ummm...can I borrow those fur babies?  I would snuggle them SO HARD.
