Restaurants Measuring?

Does anyone have a creative way to measure your protein in a restaurant? I know many people get to a point of eyeballing it but this early out I'm certain I won't be able to. I have to travel this weekend and at least one meal a day will be in a restaurant.  Any suggestions for measuring/weighting (short of bringing my digital scale).

I bring a digital travel scale everywhere.  Still.  At three years out.

I attribute measuring, weighing and logging everything -- to my success thus far.

My pleasure.  I also carry a couple coffee filters in my purse to measure on.

exactly.

It's also good if you are a traveling drug dealer/distributer.

LOL.

the funny thing is that i have a large gem collection that I COULD weigh with my scale.  See, you make a joke, but I actually live that life.  Scary, huh?

My portable scale broke about 6 months ago, and I never replaced it.  I think Im going to buy the scale that Kat posted.

I've starting asking my waiter or waitress to ask the kitchen what the portion size is.   I haven't had any issues with them asking why or not getting me the info.   The first time I was embarrassed but now it actually has come to be part of my ordering process.   If I happen to not eat the whole portion of protein. . . Then when I get home I measure what's left so I know how much I actually ate.
