Help Finding Surgery Centers in Dallas - At Low Cost?

 I already had my surgery. However I have a friend that lives in Dallas and is uninsured. She is thinking about having the surgery. Can anyone recommend some low cost centers that do the bariatric surgerys in the Dallas area?

 Dr. Davidson uses the same facility and he only charges $11,000 for the sleeve

I really like Dr. Davidson so I am echoing Jennifer's post. With self-pay, there will be some charges above and beyond the $11K but it isn't (relatively)much. I think the consult was $150 and I paid just over $500 for my stress test at Presby. I think all of my post-op & diet/nutrition classes for the next year are covered except for one.

Frankly though, with surgery this major I wouldn't want to put myself in just anyone's hands to save some money. Assume she went to a lesser experienced surgeon and then ended up with complications like a leak (not that the best surgeon's don't have some of those). The expenses would be massive to try to correct those problems. Just don't let savings outweigh surgical skill & reputation in your criteria.
