Amazing job! You definately look healthy, happy, and handsome! One thing that always sticks out to me in all the before and after pics is everyone's eyes! Your faces slimming down brings them out so much, as well as the just plain HAPPINESS that shines out! You are no exception, thank you for posting!

I used a low carb diet as is common on this board. I ate 600-800 calories most days and it was mainly meat and cheese. My staple food was chicken in various forms and even though i enjoy a varied diet i found it much easier to find items i liked and just stuck with them. I drank about every calorie - carb free drink i could find but ended up sticking to powerade zero which i still drink a lot now and buy by the case.
I guess the best advice i could give on what to eat would be to find something low carb and high protein that agrees with your new stomach and just stick to it to ride out the first 9 months while you learn quantities of various foods you can handle. I got tired of how i could eat varying amounts of food depending on its density and how my body reacted to it so like i said, i found items that agreed with me and stuck to them. As far as excersise i did walk quite a bit but really did not go out of my way. I found i naturally became quite a bit more active and the increased activity seemed to be enough. I went from being a shutin except for work to wanting to go out and have fun regulalrly.

Awesome! I almost know how you feel. I'm about to be 8 months post op and I have only 29 lbs more to lose. It seems crazy to look back a year from now and remember where I was.

Keep up the great work!
