8 months post op with pics
HW and Surgeon Consultation Weight: 330lbs
36 pounds lost pre-op
SW: 294
CW: 176.6 lbs
Since I began this journey I have lost a total of 153.4 pounds. In the last 8 months since surgery I have lost 117.4 lbs which is an average of 14.675 lbs per month. I stress about the numbers (especially since my weight keeps fluctuating between 175 and 181 as I try to figure out the food balance I need to improve my health which has had some issues lately) but, I have to relax and realize that 14.675 lbs per month is nothing to sneeze about and I should feel very accomplished. Today was a good day and I feel great! Below please find my before and afters. The afters are pics without compression garments because I wanted you to see the real me {although I am wearing the pants (size 11) high and tight which does hide some of the loose skin}. After taking the pics I went out with Hubby and put on compression garments that smoothed my thighs, rear, and waist (it was a much better look). Despite the skin, I would never wish to go back to where I was in November 2011. I am waiting to post the inches I have lost either at goal or my one year surgiversary (whichever comes first).
Hope everyone is having a happy and healthy day!
