I haven't been on in awhile, but here I am.  My weight loss has been a bit slower than I thought it would be and the main reason I am concerned is because I have heard many times that you want to try to lose as much in the first 6 months as possible.  Aside from that I got on the scale this morning and weighed 219.

The last time I saw that number was fall of 2003 so 9 years ago when I was about 4 weeks pregnant with my daughter.

I am thrilled to have made it to the lowest weight in 9 years.  This surgery is absolutely life changing.  I have gotten to the point that everyone is now noticing my weight loss and, of course, I love it!!!! This also marks my halfway point!!!! CRAZY!!

Tomorrow is my 3 month surgiversary and I am down 40 pounds since surgery - 61 since preop diet began.  Go sleeve!!

Also, my sleeve is very good to me.  I am eating just a little over an ounce at a time now and never have the foamies.  I have never vomited.  Heartburn has been my only problem in that area thankfully.  Anyway, thanks for letting me share my moment.

Thanks you guys! Yes, I think the most important and amazing part of this tool, the sleeve, is the fact that it is so much more possible to get back on board if we have an off plan moment such as eating something not nutritionally great for us.  I used to be the type that would forget about the rest of the day if I ate badly and that has changed so much now.  I don't let that condemn me to failure. I am successful and thankfully the poor choices are much more rare than ever before.
