Saw the doctor today :)

He thinks that there is a minor ulcer, but he's not 100% positive. He gave me more Nexium and told me to take it twice a day instead of once. He also suggested some Tums or Maalox for indigestion. Another thing he hit on was my migraine. He ended up doing some acupuncture in my ears. It was strange, but not painful. The medical student freaked out. I told her that I have tats and had some very sensitive areas pierced. This is NOTHING. lol I also was able to see the bariatric nurse face to face. She put me in for an appointment with an actual surgeon on the 30th. From there, we will find out if I need a scope. They told me that if I start vomiting or pooping blood or pure black, then I need to be seen immediately. BUT because of the fact that my complaints are relatively minor, they're hoping that the meds will fix it. Basically, I caught it in time.

This is going to be a post and run. Gotta help Midget Girl with homework and start dinner. Thanks for all of the concern everyone. And thanks for pushing me out the door. Sometimes I need that. ;)

Thanks everyone! The double dose of Nexium seems to be helping with the burning sensation. I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch. Just REALLY hoping this fixes it. I know it's going to take some time, though
