EAS Carb Advantage?

I'm starting to replace some meals with shakes, to get my protein up and my carbs down, find some friendly favors ahead of time for pre-op, and to have some guilt-free chocolate. (Hey, it's true.)
Are the EAS carb advantage ones good? Can you recommend any? Is there a certain number of carbs I should stay below?

Thanks in advance.

I've been drinking EAS Advantedge Carb Control since pre-surgery, along with Myoplex Lite (more protein). Delish.

I didn't find the taste of any particular brand off putting and I've tried 6-7 different ones.  There are flavors I don't like, but not due to anyone's shake product.  For example, I detest Muscle Milk Peach Mango and I stick mostly to chocolate and cookies 'n cream versions.  I know many people who like strawberry flavors just as much.  Personally, I'm okay with strawberry and banana versions but neither flavor is my favorite.  Again, the products taste fine, I just don't prefer either of those flavors.

You have to watch what you buy though.  Some products have VERY high carbs.  In fact, I'd say they don't even belong in the same section as the others.  I found more of this with the major stores like Walmart, Target, etc.  The specialty stores had better product choice and didn't carry any of the bad ones.

I started off drinking the EAS chocolate but recently got samples of Syntrax Nectar that I love. I tried the stawberry kiwi and chocolate truffle. The chocolate truffle is 100 calories per 1 scoop, 23 grams of protein and 0 carbs. I mixed it with soymilk so it added 70 calories, 7 grams of carbs, and 6 grams of protein. Strawberry Kiwi is 100 calories per 1 scoop, 23 grams of protein and 0 carbs.

I like the EAS carb advantage rtd in choc, vanilla, and strawberry. I get the 4-pks at Walmart and big cases of choc at SAMs. These are great b/c they are only 100-110 cals so they are easy to add in as a second shake in a day if needed.

I LOVE premier protein RTD chocolate and get them at SAMs

Powder: all time favorite optimum nutrition platinum hydro whey in choc or vanilla. I liked the choc a lot at first b/c you can mix it in 6 oz water and get 30gms protein. Great in the beginning when every sip seems like a big deal. Now I mix them with more water b/c I like the volume and try every way possible to get my fluid #'s up.

Everyone's tastes are different so really it's going to be what works for you! Hope this helps.

Unjury Chocolate Splendor and Unjury Chicken Soup flavors.  Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie is also wonderful, but it's a bit higher in calories.

My trainer recommended these to me yesterday. Low carb, reasonably high protein, and available at SAMs Club.

And, no shame EVER in guilt free chocolate. :D
