Pizza

I'm only 21/2 weeks out from surgery and I ate a piece of pizza.  It took two days but I still did it.  I had no problem getting it down which scares me.  I thought I would have some restriction.  I vow not to make this a habit, but it happened and I am mortified.  Strange thing is the scale is down 4 lbs today.

Run the numbers on that slice of pizza through myfitnesspal.  It will quickly show you why to avoid pizza.  So many things wrong with pizza on this process.

Also, at 2-1/2 weeks out, you shouldn't be touching anything that solid.  Your stomach is still healing and doesn't have the sensation of being able to completely tell you "this is wrong for me".

So I just didn't feel restriction because the nerves in my stomach hasn't healed?  This wasn't just a huge waste of time and pain with this surgery?

It sounds like your expectations are off.  It doesn't sound like a lot of effort to eat a slice of pizza in 2 days. It's not magic.  Try eating one in five minutes like a normie and see how that goes.  If you're really ambitious you could eat a whole pizza in two days or even one.  Sound good?n Enough of the nonsense.

it could be a huge waste of time and money if you don't follow the plan. The results you get are mostly up to you and you you. Use your sleeve.

Woah! You shouldn't be anywhere near anything as solid as pizza at only 2 and 1/2 weeks! You can SERIOUSLY hurt yourself!! Leaks are still VERY possible. Your surgeon should have put you on an eating plan. They do this FOR A REASON. Stick to the plan unless you are prepared for potentially LIFE-THREATENING complications. I'm sorry to be so severe, but this is serious. I am not just trying to give a dose of tough love here. I am hoping to make you understand that you are jeopardizing your health.

I'm not sure why you'd risk hurting yourself for a piece of pizza but please don't do it again. Aside from you going off your surgeons eating plan, you didn't eat something that will help your body nutritionally. I'm shocked you could even tolerate it.

I can't believe I could tolerate it either.  I'll take all the tough love I can get.   Strictly adhering to Dr's plan from now on.  Thanks for the input
