major turning point

Tonight, hubby snapped a photo of me and my daughter put it into a collage of old me/new me.

My big turning point is that in studying the photo, I don't recognize the old me anymore. I do recognize/relate to the new me, which is a big deal because I spent that time late last year not recognizing myself in photos. A big, reassuring AHA moment for me tonight.

Had to share. I had a therapy appt today and won't be back for a couple of weeks, but my therapist would be cheering me on right now. :)

Beautiful!  I think that moment when you realise that the "new" you is the real you and the heavier version is someone you don't identify with anymore - that moment is perhaps the best NSV of them all.  Congrats on recognising it and celebrating it with us and congrats on your wonderful progress so far!
