Well it has been a while since I have been on here. So many times life gets in the way and you lose track of what you should be doing. Well anyways, I am looking for a good protein shake. I had been drinking the EAS Carb drink for the past 3 years but the company has redesigned the formula and personally it sucks! Please let me know what you are drinking!!!

Right now, I am loving the syntrax nectar chocolate. I put a scoop of it with 8 oz of water in the blender (I do water because my stomach is not tolerating milk right now), add a little bit of peanut butter and its so yummy! I can't believe its good for me!

check out my blog!

I buy this protein powder -- http://www.amazon.com/Optimum-Nutrition-Standard-Double-Chocolate/dp/B000QSNYGI/ -- and I mix it with unsweetened original almond milk.  This works out to be 150 cal, 3.5 g fat, 5 g carb, 25 g protein for 8 ounces.  I think they're super tasty.

I normally only buy ready to drink shakes because I do not like the gritty taste that the powder creates. When you mix the powders do they give a gritty taste?

My shakes never taste gritty. I mix them in a Blender Bottle and they're like chocolate milk. Perfect and delicious!

I got a cup from Bodybuilding.com that holds the powder seperate from your milk or water, that way you can make it fresh at work. And then you can get a blender ball to put in there and it should whip it up nicely.

Don't dream it. Be it.

I just threw out 2 cases of EAS as it was so nasty.  I am using the powder I bought but after this bag is gone I won't again.  I mix it in a blender bottle with some cold coffee or almond milk fist than add hot coffee.  But as soon as I get ride of the 100's of $$$ in stuff I can stand, I'm back to syntrax nectar.  I love that stuff and that it is no carb and mixes better than ANY of the other powders I have tried.

I like everything about the Syntrax Nectar products.
