Mine is the 23rd. I start the liquid diet on Monday.

VSG on 09/17/14 with

Wednesday the 17th September for me - lap band comes out and sleeve is created.

I go on Wednesday Sept 10. I am scared, and now worried... I wasn't told to go on a liquid diet until Monday when I start my bowel cleanse.

I was told the liquid diet is to shrink my liver to help with maneuvering....perhaps you just don't need that? Every program seems to be a little different, so don't worry! Good luck!!

Thanks! Started my bowel cleanse and 2 day liquid only diet today. Surgery on Wednesday! So far it hasn't been so bad, even made a trip to the pharmacy and grocery store a few hours after starting my cleanse. Living on the dangerous side. lol :)
