18-months Post-Op and...
I'm still happy with my decision!
It has been nearly 18 months since surgery and I still can't get over how fast the time has gone. I can remember my first month, I had lost only 11 lbs and that realization made me think I was doomed to be overweight forever. However, things got better and I have lost a total of 146 lbs! Starting weight was 311 lbs. Current weight (which I've been maintaining for 6 months) is 165 lbs. I'm happy and I'm healthy! This journey wasn't (and still isn't) always easy, but I've never regretted it for a moment.
If you're in the process to have this procedure, or just doing some research into it, I can testify that it was life-changing for me. I'm beyond thrilled with my sleeve!

You look fantastic!!! I am 7 weeks out and I have lost only 25 lbs but I am down 70 from my highest weight ....I was feeling like the weight was never going to come off because the scale didnt move for almost 3-4 weeks and now it is starting to move again...I just pray I can get more off before the next stall!!!! did you have many stalls? did they last longer then you expected?
Congrats! You are doing phenomenal so far! I did have several stalls, but it seemed like mine hit ever 1 1/2 - 2 months. They lasted around 3 weeks each time, but they eventually passed. Just keep pushing through, follow your doctors orders, and most importantly, track all your food! You'll get there! :)
