I just wanted to share with phase 1 and pre-op dieters!!!

Swanson"s flavored broth is amazing!!!

I just had the Chinese Hot & Sour broth and and I was like I was eating from Panda Express!!!!

My surgery is on 9/21 and I am trying to experiment with the broth options!!!

Make sure to check the sodium content on that. I tried a few different kinds when I was right out of surgery and it was WAY too salty for me, YMMV.

I will probably have to dilute it with water!

I tried it post-op and it was too strong for me.  

Thanks for sharing...I might give it a try...I'm 15 days post-op so right now I never want to see broth again...lol

8 days for me and that is after 2 weeks of liquids prior to surgery (so about three weeks or so) and I really just want to use a fork again.  At least broth is not on my programs "approved" list for the post-op diet.
