Is the gurgling normal?

I am 8 days out from being sleeved and feel great - no pain or anything and I'm back to work.  But most times that I drink anything (I'm on full liquids), I will feel a gurgling feeling for the next few minutes.  It's the strangest thing. You can even hear it sometimes.  Water, soup, hot, cold.  Is this normal?  Thanks!

My stomach sounded like a waterfall cascading for several months.  It's normal and it passes.

Oh yeah!  And it will happen with food too.  I'm 2-1/2 years out and I just ate lunch (no liquids) and I'm sitting here listening to my loudly gurgling stomach.  It can be embarrassing if I'm in a crowd - lol!

Oh yea, it's normal. I am nearly 4 years out and it still happens, although not quite to the same degree as newly sleeved.

I'm still preop but I had gall bladder surgery in April and mine gurgles all of the time so I'll bet it will get worse after surgery! It's a very strange feeling and can be embarrassing! But I don't care as long as I can get this weight off and be healthy!

Thanks for the replies! It's such a strange feeling.  Glad to hear that it's normal and not a sign that I'm doing something wrong.
