I'm excited! And I'm scared out of my mind! Did anyone ever feel like running from the surgery room if u could? Lol I know I might just be over reacting.

You will do fine, just a little anxious. It's an amazing journey......enjoy the ride. Good luck to you.

I was sleeved on 10/26/15.. i felt exactly how you do now. I even cried when they were prepping me and talking to me. I cried as I signed the consents.. i cried when they asked me if I had any questions. Hang in there and know that what you are feeling, is completely normal.

I think many of us feel like bolting out the door. I remember thinking "What am I doing?" when being prepped for surgery. I did tell them I was quite anxious and they gave me something in my IV that relaxed me. It's always nerve wracking for me to have any surgery under a general anesthetic. I can remember being wheeled into the OR and my last conscious thought was 'I feel soo floaty, guess the meds are working'. I remember nothing more until waking up in my room many hours later. Ask for the good drugs if you need them, there is no need to feel panicked and unsure on the day. Sending good thoughts to you for a great recovery. Good Luck!

Good luck. It will be over soon and all will be fine. They gave me meds to relax me even though I didn't need them so hopefully they will do the same to you through those last few hours of waiting.
