Never thought I would be excited to eat mushy food. LOL  Starting week 3. What was your favorite food at this point? I am excited to try the baked ricotta!! I ate an over easy egg this morning and it was like eating a steak compared to all liquids.

I'm down 50 lbs since starting the liver diet. Week 2 loss was definitely a lot less than week 1. 5 lbs which I am happy with which makes 30 lbs since surgery on 11/30. Stepping up the exercise this week. Got to go through and ditch some clothes this weekend. packed up 5 pairs of jeans and some 3 and 4 x shirts which look like balloons now. Down to a 22/24!!

Hope everyone is well!

CONGRATS!!! My favorite during the pureed stage was refried beans with a teaspoon of fat free sour cream and guacamole. It was like a burrito with no tortilla. After all liquids it was the best thing I had ever tasted! Good luck on your continuing success!

Grats, I start the soft food phase tomorrow at 4 weeks post op, I can't wait until I hit week 9, I so miss having a nice salad. Some lettuce, tomato, sliced mushrooms, sliced beets, olives and some fat free italian dressing. Sigh.....(Insert Homer Simpson drooling noise here) Lol! I'm still sitting at the 3 week stall, I have been steady for 8 days at 60-61 lbs lost. Can't wait for this stall to be over.

I think we hit this stall because we are introducing food back and our body is hanging onto it for dear life. Then it will realize "ah we aren't starving anymore, we can just process it". There is no way you just don't lose when only taking in 300-400 calories and are burning more than that in exercise.

Have you had anything that you could eat before that your body just isn't tolerating now? What is your calorie intake? Since we are so close in our date it's good to have someone to ask these questions.

Good for you.  My fav food during this stage was pacific roasted pepper and tomato soup along with mashed avocado with Greek yogurt .  Best of luck

My first food was a scrambled egg.  Then I made the ricotta bake that night for dinner.  Heaven!  It lasted 5 days because I can only eat 3 ounces or less at a time.

Tonight I made faux Mac and cheese with cooked mashed cauliflower and made my own cheese sauce.  Baked in the oven..yummy.  I also eat chicken salad with mayo chopped up fine in my mini food processor and cottage cheese too.
