Stomach/Gas pain

i had my surgery yesterday. Doing well except for the immediate upper stomach pain when I sip waster or any liquid. Any advice? They say it's gas pain, but I can't get rid of it. 

It's gas pain and walking is about the only thing that's going to relieve it. I'm 2 months post op and remember those first few days all too well. I was miserable and it last 6 days for me. I pray it subsides quickly for you but just remember to walk walk walk...it helps! Congrats on the surgery and welcome to the club ;)
