I Hate Jello!

I've been reading a lot of posts about Jell-o.  Jell-o grosses me out, the texture that is. 

 

How do you prepare it?

What can be mixed with it?

What can I do to keep away the 'jiggly' texture?

If you don't like Jello, there's no reason to have it! Some people include it during the clear-liquid phase of their post-op diet, others are grossed out by it and stick to broth, clear protein drinks, and the like.

You can make it less jiggly by adding Knox unflavored gelatin to SF packet of jello. Once set, can be cut into blocks. I'm not a huge fan but has protein  (~1g/cup, more with the Knox) so I usually make it once a week.  http://www.food.com/recipe/the-knox-blox-i-remember-209226 Gelatin is versatile stuff you can use it as protein treatment for hair or to color hair and synchronized swimmers use it to set hair in the pool.

It literally has no nutrients just leave it out
