well i did it !  havent hardly taken any pain meds proably take some tonight just so i get a good nights sleep since im home . drinking plain water has been very hard weather its cold or room temperature or warm so the dr told me i could add some crystal light and it goes down much better. i find its easier to drink when standing at this point hurts to much while sitting. the stomach spasms are a killer and hurt so bad im hoping its just inflammation and gas that hasnt made its way out. last night i was asking myself what did i do to myself ? the only major problem i had was with the nausea patch it made my vison very blurry  so i saw the eye dr after i was discharged and she said that my coreneas were very irrated. ive had eye pressure problems before and almost went blind from it so i was worried  but all is good and i should be fine!

Congrats on your surgery! I drank some poweraid zero after surgery just to change it up. I did love the taste of water. Cold water only. Room temp water sat like a rock but works for others. Warm tea was really soothing. Have you tried that for the spasms? I never had any nausea or spasms. Just sip sip sip! It will get better every day!

Great to hear from you.  Sorry to hear you are having spasms.  Hoping that they will subside soon. Walking helped my gas.  Feeling for you re:  nausea and eye irritation. Take good care .... thinking of you.  Yes, you will be just fine. Hugs!!

Congrats on your surgery! Hopefully your spasms have subsided by now, but if not, a heating pad held on your abdomen might help. I kept one handy for the first week or so after surgery, and it was a lifesaver.
