Congratulations!!!!! This is great news!!! I am on day 4 after surgery and feeling weak but pushing down liquids, vitamin water and taking it slow.
I agree, needed more fluids. How long does the bloating and soreness last?
Hi! I believe I was dehydrated. I increased my liquid intake and the headache faded.
Hi! I have not taken any pain meds but I tried drinking more fluids and the headaches seem to have subsided. Now I am dealing with the bloating and soreness. ?
I agree with Teenie. Pain meds (esp narcotics) give some people headaches. Even milder ones like Tylenol 3 with Codeine. I got those (T3C) after one my plastic surgeries - I had to stop taking them because they gave me bad headaches.
Ok pushing fluids down ð?'?. My stomach is very bloated and soar. The doctor took care of a hernia as well.
This can be a reaction to pain meds. If it feels like a hangover I would ask for a milder pain pill. I definitely had these issues in the past.

The headache is probably from the anesthesia. It will get better soon. Just push the fluids in whatever form you need to. Extra fluids make everything a little better.

Hi goldn02girl,
Thank you so much for your advice. I will pick up sugar-free popsicles tomorrow. I will start with protein shakes tomorrow as well. Your suggestions are appreciated.
