Down 162lbs in 11 months

Fell off track for quite some time almost 2 months, and I actually gained 6lbs and went back up to 300lbs.   I started lowcarbing and I'm now down to 284 and I'm not playing any games.  

My goal weight fluctuates from time to time, I sometimes want to be 180 then 190 and even 200lbs.  I'm not a thin girl, and I never was.  Even at high school I was a pretty big girl, never skinny.  I'm definitely big boned and not meant to be skinny.  I'm happy at 284 and everyone tells me how good I look.  I went from wearing size 6x to 18...446lbs to 284lbs........ loving it.

I must say to anyone reading this, the surgery is just a tool.  Just like I gained 6lbs I realized that I can gain weight if I kept up my bad eating habits.  My stomach started tolerating fast food more, so I started eating a lot of fast food.   I also started drinking diet soda, to the point I drank diet dr pepper all day and no water. 

Since low carbing, I only allow myself 1 diet soda per day, and just crystal light/water for the rest of the day.  I do not eat any candy/sugar at all.  My treat is sugar free jello w/strawberries and whip cream.   I'm going to also order these high protein low carb puddings I found on www.bariatricchoice.com,  I already ordered their hot chocolate, has 12 grams of protein in a cup and only 6 carbs.    My other snack is pork rinds and hot sauce.  LOL  they have zero carbs, and when I need something to snack on, I go that route.  I've also experiemented with fried cheese which doesn't taste that bad.  I eat more veggies now with low carb, any green veggie except for peas is good on low carb.

I'm making a commitment to get the rest of the weight off of me.  My Dr. told me that 150lbs was excellent and he didn't expect me to lose this much.  He also said that most likely I will plateu soon and will need to get the 2nd part of the surgery which is the gastric part.  I actually was t hinking about the 2nd part and said most likey I will need to do it, because my weight was slowing down, and I started picking up bad habits again.   I got an epihany that said enough is enough, use your took Vertical Sleeve to the fullest.

Doing low carb I actually get full very fast because of my small stomach.  For instance I had buffalo wings and salad the other night.  I could only eat 4 wings and 3 spoon fulls of salad.  So my appetite is shrinking again compared to couple of months ago where my appetite started picking up again.

I'm going to do this another 84lbs to go, I'm determined, I made the decision to get this weight off, and I'm not going to do it  once and for all.  My goal is 10lbs a month, and I've already lost 8lbs  in 5 days, which I know most is water, but I'm hopeful.
