This is a relatively recent development, and I'm not sure what's causing it. I had no issues in the relative aftermath of the surgery once the incision sites had healed, but recently, for awhile actually, it's been ongoing.

do we just ask them here since the rest of the forums aren't that highly viewed?

Anybody have problems like this AFTERWARDS? I was always under the impression that this area would improve afterwards, but I've been having some problems getting/maintaining erections since surgery. Anybody have any suggestions?

And there was a little bit of a carrot in there, broken up, and I swallowed it without realizing.  I've removed the pieces of carrot now, but should I be worried about that piece of carrot causing a dumping issue?

If you have noticed my posts lately, they're all centered around going insane over not being able to eat any solid food due to the pre op diet.  Well, it turns out I may have been wrong.  Some backstory:

What's the theory behind not allowing me to eat solid protein, like chicken or whatever?  These are the kinds of things that run thru your mind as you watch TV and a Thanksgiving commercial comes on with a delicious looking turkey.

And I almost went out to get it.  But I started searching old posts on here, and I managed to fight off the cravings.  Thanks to this site!

So, I'm working my way thru the pre-op liquid diet.  So far it's just been water and protein shakes.  I'm going to work some broth in probably tomorrow.  However, I'm wondering if there's other stuff that can be recommended to break up the monotony?  G
