Well I am moving quickly through this process. I went to my first seminar in January got called the next day for my follow up appointment. From the appointment I went and scheduled all my lab work for the first week of February, scheduled my meetings with the dietician and within two days of finishing my last meeting with her I had insurance approval! I received my phone call to schedule my surgery and pre op appointment. It has taken me a total of 5 months to get to my surgery date. I start my liver shrink on Tuesday. I am very excited but also nervous. Surgery is scheduled for May 28. I am dealing with the fact that I feel like I am taking a cop out by having the surgery. I have never been thin I think I was born a size 18! I have tried everything to lose the weight and I lose only to gain back more. I need something permanent. I am so ready to meet the thin me. I will be on this site often looking for support, here is to my new life!
