Let the COUNTDOWN begin....

So I've  made up my mind. I got thru all the pre-op stuff and everything looks good, I even got the call today, "No H-Pylori" whew... that's a relief!

I've gone back & forth between the RNY and the VSG for weeks now- partly because I was scared to death of having this surgery open~ well, after talking to everyone involved, I've decided to go thru with the open RNY on the 22nd! It also helped seeing pictures of scars that have healed up and are barely visible especially on tanned skin! I have been blessed with fabulous skin so, I think the scar should be minimal for me ...and as far as my major concerns (you know, dying and also the recovery time with my auto-immune disease) I have accepted that I have absolutely NO control over either one of them and I have to just trust in God. One thing I do know is I won't be alive very much longer Without WLS & I certainly wouldn't be happy! 

So let the Countdown begin!!!
Only 23 days until my new life begins! I've been trying to get everything lined up so that I'm prepared when the time comes:

I've got my vitamins ordered.
I picked up my new recliner today.
Got my grocery list made out for all the SF stuff I need to stock up on before I go in.
I have a small supply of Muscle Milk and protein drinks just to get me thru until my tastebuds settle in.
Casseroles to cook up & freeze for my family to eat.
Stocked up on all the pet supplies so my lil angels don't suffer while mommy is down.
I know everything I want to pack for the hospital stay.
I gotta still make sure all the house cleaning & laundry gets done before The BIG Day...
Oh and I made an instruction list for my wonderful hubby & kids so they know exactly what they need to do & how to do it (No Excuses) Lol!
Am I forgetting anything???
