Syntrax Nectar Sweets Whey Protein Isolate, Vanilla Bean Torte

" Mine just came today. I ordered three kinds~ Chocolate truffle, Vanilla bean torte, and Fuzzy navel. One scoop = 23 grm protein. 90 to 100 calories per scoop. Pure protein isolate, no sugar, carbs ( 1 grm carbs depending on flavor) or fat. Low cholesterol. Yes, it's sweetened with Splenda. I really like it thou. Fluffy. Vanilla has specks of vanilla bean. 4th protein powder I've tried. I guess Syntrax also has a "natural" Nectar in 2 flavors, orange and peach~ sweetened with Stevia. "

Joseph Naim

"My first impression of Dr. Naim was he projected allot of confidence and experience. He also suggested I would do better with the RNY instead of the lap band I had come inquiring about. I can understand his reasoning on this after learning more about the lap band, and it's possible future. He speaks very fast, and is hard to understand at times. He does seem like he has a conscience. I would rate his skills and my actual surgery, ~ 100%. "

St. Mary Medical Center Double DUP

"Many nurses are stressed and rude. I had 13 iv's put in! Never in my life had I had more then one or two put in EVER.They say they will bring you liquid food then never do. When it was finally brought it was regular jello with sugar in it. The nurse said it did not matter. They are good at giving hepain shots on time. Getting you up to walk, but this was my choice anyway. My daughter sent me flowers which when I woke up in the middle of the night had been mysteriously strewn around the table i had placed them on. The rude nurse said " O I thought you had done it" and " well, I didn't do it" then she didn't even try to help gather them up. Same nurse showed unprofessional frustration with my pain levels the first day(s) after surgery. The T.V remote did not work. The room was clean. There were some pleasant people there. No help in bathing. Glad I'm out of there. It's not a perfect world people make mistakes, but this put a damper on a otherwise positive surgery experience. I wouldn't be too happy having to return there again, and this was my second inpatient experience. It felt cold the first time too. I realize this is my experience, and others may have different ones. OMG.... ok wow, I wound up back at ST. Mary's in Feb due to a giant 7mm kidney stone that caused my body to begin to shut down and go into septic shock. I was there for 6 days; 2 were in the ICU where the most comfortable beds are... ha ha It was mainly a nightmare AGAIN, due to the IV problem. I have very small squiggly veins that seem to roll, and I was dehydrated, so once again I get stuck with about 13 IV's. I had to have potassium IV's which burn like hell. Maybe it was holy water, and they thought I needed an excorcism..... I reported one nurse' unprofessional attitude to the patient complaint dept. It was just so childish and outrageous. I HAD to make someone aware of her behavior towards me... If you don't like your job then leave. I have. But there were many other Doctors, nurses ect who acted like saints there; having obvioulsy been blessed with godly amounts of patience, smarts and skills. I am all better now due to them. I could of very well died..... I want to mention that I am not a unpleasant, difficult or demanding patient. I put up with allot of crap before I lose it. I just wish they would get the IV thing together because when I was at another hospital a few years ago I never had that problem. It's something that has surfaced post RNY.... Iv's really hurt. Their infectious disease policy also sucks and is degrading, even thou it was implemented in the best of intentions. I do not believe it is something that can really be controlled in that manner in a hospital or out in the real world. *** my 3 star review is directly related to the nursing care, as a whole, as they usually can make or break a hospital stay and the IV situation."
