Wade Barker

"I have been a patient of Dr. Barker's since '06. I have had three surgeries with him, and there is no one I would trust more to operate on me than him. I have complete confidence in his surgical abilities. Prior to surgery he is very good with taking his time with you, answering your questions, and helping you decide what surgery is for you. His aftercare with his patients used to be just as good. Unfortunately, he has grown so much that I am disappointed with his care post surgery. I expected to see him at least once post surgery. He now uses an excellent internist to assist him. But I still like having the contact with the surgeon himself. His office staff is very supportive and friendly. One negative is the wait. Be prepared to wait up to two hours for your appointment once you are there. But, I do feel he is an extremely skilled surgeon in laproscopic surgery and would choose him again should I need it. There are support groups which I have heard good things about. Unless you are local to the office, it doesn't work. If you are close, I would strongly suggest going to them. The one thing I can say other than Dr. Barker's skill, is that he genuinely cares about his patients and believes in what he is doing. "

"I found it to be the best experience. The only negative thing I could say is that my husband said the food was not too great. And the hours of the cafeteria made it difficult to get food. They were not always open the hours that they stated. But the staff was nice enough to get him a sandwich."
