Got my letter from Kaiser........boy am I happy.  It came in the mail Friday evening, too late for me to call Dr. Maciks office.  I will be calling first thing Monday morning to schedule my first appointment.  I hope I am one of the fast loser's.  As we age our metabolism really slows down.  I am trying to get use to the reality that I won't be able to pig out like I've been able to do my whole life.  My life will be different.  If I had come across the OH forums some years ago, I would probably have had the surgery some time ago.  But, I don't think the VSG was as popular some years ago.  Some years ago I didn't have a BMI high enough to have the surgery.  GOD does everything in his on timing.  I am so ready to get this behind me......Today is Feb 7th, I hope I will be having surgey no later than March.
