Hey people!!! I'm back! Everything went great with my tuck/lift surgeries and I'm back to work now, so I thought I'd drop by to update my profile and give a shout out! : ) I'll try to post some new pics real soon too. Thanks again for all your prayers, moral support and emails! You're all great buddies to have around. Take care!

hi chanelle.. good luck with everything! i'll be thinking of you. my gastric bypass is the 13th n they are doing hernia repair at the same time. Why didn't they do that for you? well best of luck.. no worries.. u must be a pro at this surgery thing now..lol cher

Well Everyone (anyone still checking up on me anyway!)... the big day is almost here. On Monday, December 6th, I will be back at Christiana Hospital to have hernia repair, Panniculectomy w/Abdominoplasty, and a breast lift!!!!! Now outside of looking like a Frankenstein monster from all of the scars (which I hope are not too bad), I'll feel like I've got my old body back. Wish me luck and please keep me in your prayers. I'll be back to update on the surgeries real soon!

Hey Chanelle... I was just re-reading my surgery notes and remembered how nice you're post made me feel at the hospital. I just updated myself on your journey... Congratulations girl... Hi Chanelle, I've read your entire journal today & I just loved it! I'm 33 also and I'm from Maine. (Yes, Maine!) I really connected to your story because mine is a little similar. (I'm 252 at a sorry 4'11"). I've had my consult and I'm getting really excited to have the surgery. It'll probably be in November. That feels like such a long time to wait! It makes me think of when I was pregnant...all the waiting, reading, and researching. I just wanted you to know I think you're great! You're funny and positive...Just the type of thing I want to see! I know I haven't been a good girl when it comes to updates, but I've just been trying to stay active since I now have the energy. I do miss all the notes others used to leave here on my page and I hope that you all will continue to send me messages from time to time. I'll try to do better at updating too. I'll be going back to work starting tomorrow and I'm down to 240lbs (think anyone will notice???) I'll let you all know how my first day goes on tomorrow... I promise! : )

Hey Chanelle!!,My surgery went well, had a slight scare, but God was holding my hand and my Dr. was great. I am 11 days post op and less 28 lbs. I just finished reading your updates, Girl, my stomach is still a little sore, but you had me ROLLING. I'm looking forward to the shopping trip. :)
