Hello Kendra and Congrats on taking the steps toward losing the weight and getting as healthy as possible! Congrats on you recent surgery with Dr. Boe and the Barix Team. I'm sure you are well on your way to a full recovery. I would like to invite you to join an email support group just for BARIX patients. Hi Kendra! I hope and pray everything went okay! I am in the insurance process also and have to start back to school Aug. 19th so hopefully the Barix Center can get going on mine, too(I had my consult in May also). Well I now know Dr. Boe's office gets us in right away! Keep us posted on how you're doing!

Hi Kendra! I'm scheduled tomorrow, too. I'm too nervous to sleep so I thought I'd see if someone else in IA was having surgery tomorrow. Plus I want to drink water until midnight because I won't get anymore until Wednesday - and then it'll just be little sips! My hubby had his WLS done July 6th and has dropped close to 50 pounds! He is doing great! He doesn't remember the first 24 hours after surgery, but I do, I guess that's why I'm nervous!! I should have gone first! :-) Here's praying we both have an uneventful surgery and a successful weight loss!! P.S. I'm 32 and my mom and I were crying today - not so much because she doesn't want me to do it, she's just worried, which is normal. God be with us both tomorrow and see you on the losing side!!
