As you can see it has been a while since I have been on the site.  I was going though a lot of emotional things coming to a surgery decision.  I have worked with my doctor, talked to baraiactric patients and watched vlogs on youtube.  I am just mad that all the time I took going thru this process, I could have had the surgery by now.  But i believe that everything happens for a reason.  It just was not my time.  I have already started the process and on the road of approval and a surgery date in the near future.  I will be having my surgery at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and my surgeon is Dr. AVerbach.  I have a fantastic dietitcian named Nanyc Lum and am excited about starting this journey.  So far I have done my ultrasound on my gallbladder and liver.  I only have to have 3 months of documentation.  I am seeing the dietician for that and also attending required nutrition workshops and seminars.  I need to see a pysh doctor and once i get my date do my pre-op stuff.  My last weigh-in will be on april 17th and my paperwork will be submitted to the insurance.  Last time I was on here i was about 323lbs.  I have gained weight and am currentl 341 as of yesterday.   SMH......I  know.....shame on me. Today I am utilizing a very good incentive working with the government....working from home.  They are always pusing us to use this program.  It results in continuity in work.....balance with life and work.  I love it!  Everyone enjoy their day!!

I was directed to this website by a co-worker of mine who had WLS.  Unfortunately she has gained her weight back and is struggling to lose again.  She has given me so much information and how to be successfull.  I also have two other friends who have had the sugery and one lost 200 and the other only 35lbs.  It really does seem like a lifestyle change and you have to be committed to following through with EVERYTHING.....well I am ready.  Everyone enjoy your day!
