Surgery went well.  I will say that the clear liquid phase is tough b/c I am fighting head hunger and I  think at times real hunger.  Full liquid phase starts tomorrow and goes for 2 weeks.  Hopefully I can get enough variety that I won't be bored on it.

Financing issues.  I ended up using my hubby's 401k money and we will get a tax write off for the surgery and flight there.  I hope to take some of the refund we get--hopefully- and put it into a roth ira for him since he did that for me.  For the other part, my parents came through and helped me with a low interest cc loan on their card.  I hope that the lack of food and possible less meds will help me pay them off quickly.  I think it will take 7 years to pay it off with a low payment, but I hope to have it done in 3-4.  The medical finance companies are insane.  They would have charged me a fee almost as much as my loan plus 10% interest to have the loan. It was just crazy.

I did get partial financing through another company.  My husband offered to get his 401K money out for my surgery.  I didn't want him to, but he said, yes...your health is important and you have always needed some help.  His insurance doesn't cover it and neither would have insurance through the school if we had it.  Needless to say, I love my hubby!

I am just now trying to get things together before I have my surgery.  Bought plane tickets, sent a down payment for surgery, done my will, my mom is taking off and coming down to take care of the kids, got extra shampoo, toliet paper, etc. going on.

Well, I have a 6 weeks to go and I just want it to be here!

Well, I got denied by finance company, but I failed to put our incomes together, so we may re do the application tonight.

We are also looking into getting 401K money out.

I am kinda bummed about the whole thing.  I want my sleeve!
