"Dr. Throop is wonderful! He is sweet, kind and attentive. He is young, but I like that. Younger Doctors tend to have better bedside manner, be more open, and willing to work with you. Dr. Throop excelled in each of these areas. I had some problems in the hospital with the nurses and he was ready to take 'em on! The office staff at St. Marys Bariatric Center are great! They remember you by name without even having to look at their book! They even remember details about my life, like how many kids I have and how old they are. The program at SMBC is very structured and rigid. They let you know from the beginning that there are risks. They go over the risks with you on several occasions, and you get a binder (the bible!) that has everything detailed out. I give SMBC 5 Stars, 10 out of 10, and #1 in the Tri-State!"
