Hello,
Well i am now 8 1/2 months post op and feeling great!, I have been approved for Plastic Surgery and will be having it done after the first of the year. I am told I will loose another 10lbs from that. So I am now wearing XL and LArge shirts depending on the style.
I also can wear size 36 pants a long way from the size 62's I wore before. I have noticed I am cold alot. I guess thats what happens when you loose all your insulation. LOL, Small price to pay for how I feel and look.
I hope all of you are doing well and I wish you all great success!

Hello all,
I need to get an update out on how things are going. In a word "fantastic"
First my stats.
down total Pre-op and Post-op Combined 136.6 lbs Hmm I thought it was more but my math is a little foggy.
This is from the Doctors Charts so must be accurate , Right?. Lol
Current Shirt Size XL , yes XL i love it. hehehheheh
Pants down to a 42 waist now from a high of 60-62 waist last summer.
No Edema in my legs
No heart burn or pills for Reflux anymore.
I can see and touch my toes, Which BTW are a full shoe size smaller. LOL
I now have to move the Car seat forward when I get in now.
and my steering wheel is not binding up anymore and making me think there is something wrong with the steering. Think about that one for a minute. LOl
I am still learning how to eat right and know this will be a life long process and I am excited to learn more everyday!

This has been a wondeful journey so far, Still learning what I can and can not eat yet. Stage 4 real foods now and keeping up on fluids and Proteins. Excercise is tough with the knee replacement recovery at the same time. But I am doing it a little more each day.
Could use some suggestions for good meals. Getting bored with food. Never thought I would say that!

Current Weight Post-Op May 2011 279.6 lbs
Waist Size 62's Sept 2010
