Time to Re-evaluate

I had to re-evaluate my menu this week. I had a post on the main board because I felt like I was eating too much.  Also, my job is so hectic at the end of the month & I wasn't able to go grocery shopping. This made for difficult choices in the job's cafe'. 
I was frustrated because my scale hasn't moved a bit. As a matter of fact, I'd gained 2 lbs & it's only been 6 weeks. One thing I realized I was doing wrong, was not getting the protein in first. I was eating potatoes & getting full. Then I was done until the next meal.
Happy to announce that I made it to the grocery store & I started back on drinking protein shakes throughout the day. I have noticed if I drink a shake for breakfast, I'm good well into lunch time. I also, joined the gym today. I am so excited because at first, I was just going to continue walking on my own & using the weights I bought for home.  I realize I need to do more. I need to get a real hard workout. Next time, I post I expect to be typing that I've returned to the loser side.
