Though I'm always thankful for another year, this birthday is extra special. As of today I've lost 150lbs. In the past I would just chill at home or go out to dinner with my children. But, this year is different. My day is going to start out with a group of us ladies going to the spa to get facials and massages. Then we've reserved a table at the Sundial restaurant which I'm told is at the top of a high-rise building and turns around slowly so you can view all of Atlanta. Later that night they reserved the VIP section of a very upscale club in Atlanta where I'll be greeted by my closest friends and family.The most exciting part of it all is several family members haven't seen me in months and have no idea how much weight I've lost. I've already bought my birthday dress and y'all its form fitting. Can you believe that form fitting? It's my dream dress. You know the one when you were still overweight & always dreamt of wearing one day, but never believing it would ever happen. Well, it's happening for me in 8 more days. I feel like one of those people on those reality shows like What to Wear or Extreme Makeover when they'd help people lose weight and get a makeover.
I can't wait to walk into that club with that dress on. I guess this will be like my own reveal show, lol. Don't worry I'll take plenty of pictures to upload, lol!
