Week 3 update!!!

Oct 14, 2014

I went to my NUT yesterday and my waist is down from 60 to 52 1/2 and I have lost a total of 35 pounds. My husband commented that i hadn't drink Soda in a month and I was like "oh really". I had actually forgotten. This is a huge deal for me as I have been addicted to soda since I have been old enough to drink them. I would literally drink 1 12 pack a day. I started wondering if that is why I lost 20 pounds on my pre op diet alone. It couldn't have hurt.  but on to other things. It really does feel good to have shed so much already. I feel a little vain for saying this but I am proud of myself. It also feels good that my husband can almost put his hands completely around me. Slowly but surely.

week 2 gone and I am 30 pounds lighter

Oct 07, 2014

I cannot believe it I am a month into this process and have lost 30.6 pounds. This week I have added cream soups and drinkable yogurt. I am exercising everyday. My goal is at least 30 minutes but Monday I was only able to get 15 minutes in. I am averaging about 450 calories a day. I am still not drinking the 8 glasses of water a day I am suppose to. That is something I really need to work on. I am so totally proud of myself. It hasn't been easy but luckily the food cravings are not there. However, I have had a very supportive husband so that has helped me a lot. Next week i get to start a soft diet. I will be adding cottage cheese and tuna fish. I am also going to try to bump myself to 45 minutes of exercise everyday.

Week 1 is down!

Oct 02, 2014

I am feeling a lot better. My abdomen still feels sore but not as bad. It kind of comes and goes. I am getting use to the protein shakes. I however had to change my NUT because I realized through OH she had been giving me some bad advice. I have noticed I worry about everything I eat and am scared of stretching my stomach. I have been told this is normal but that I should not let it get out of control because it can lead to an eating disorder. This came from a friend who went through this three years ago. I am now adding cream soups and drinkable yogurts to my diet. I have been excising everyday (not going to lie some days are easier then others). I feel unmotivated at times but then I put on my clothes that use to be skin tight and realize they are falling off of me and I suddenly feel a lot better. i realize that yes I can do this...and I will. Well time to go exercise!!
