Seven and a half weeks, but who is counting? well...I am!!

Down 15 pounds! I am so thrilled! It is hard to believe. For once I feel like I am making changes instead of feeling like I am on a diet that I will eventually go off. I am so grateful to be a member of the OH group Back on Track Together (BOTT), I am also on another online group. I have reconnected with a bariatric practice support system where I lived in Nevada and have been attending their groups. As long as I make it Friday, I will meet my goal of attending all four of their groups this month - each one is different and valuable in its own way. I have been faithful in logging my food on MyFitnessPal.com and also willing to log whatever I eat for accountability - this also helps me to maybe not make the choice to eat that particular food. I have pretty much let go of between meal snacking, but still have some late night lapses. This week, and last week, if I just "needed" to have something I have decided I will either have a mini or half a protein bar (about 100 cals) or a fiber bar (same amount of cals) - so it is either extra protein or extra fiber - both helpful. My cravings for foods is drastically reduced, which is so great and most likely really contributing to my feelings of finally making a change rather than being on a diet.
