OMG!!  I wanted to hug a customer today, she would have that I was nutts!  I was bent over getting some thing out of a bunker draw ( storage bins under our shelves)  when two ladies came around the corner with their cart.  I stood up and said I was sorry for being in the way , and one of them said "She was gonna hit you in the butt"  And we all laughed,  then other  one said " no I wasn't, you have a tiny butt I could have gotten by"  I don't think I have ever heard those words before.  I wanted to hug her!!!!

My eyes are still heavy.

Sep 26, 2011

I guess I am not seeing the weight loss the same as other people.  A girl at work has been telling me for a while now I needed new pants. I would just laugh and go on. My pants are size 14 no way could I ever get into anything smaller.  This morning I put on a pair of pants that truely felt too big, so decided after work I would go see if I could get into a 12.  OMG!!!!!  I bought two pairs of SIZE 10 pants for work!!!!!!!  Totally skipped size 12!  But still cannot get into the formal I want to wear in November, and I only have a month left.

I AM OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!

Aug 26, 2011

My BMI is now 29.9 down from 51, that finally gets me out of the obesity ranges, and into the "overweight" range!  So now I am just like the majority of America!!!!   Not sure if I will ever reach the "normal" range but  this is good!!!

Gall Bladder 1 week later

Jul 20, 2011

It has been a week since they took out my gall bladder, and and I am uncomfortable, which is tons better than being in pain.  Still have pain with certain movements but things are coming along.  I don't understand how any one can say the surgery was a piece of cake.  The pain was so much more than the RNY but overall energy, strength, and over yucky feeling this was better.   I will not be out for a month with this I can tell already. Gonna have to get online and do some research, because I keep hearing from people things they can't eat after wards but they haven't told me any diet limits. Gain 10 pounds with all IVs and stuff but as of today abck to where I was so not too bad I can take a week of no weight loss, to prevent another attack.

OMG I almost forgot the past part (or worst part) of being in hospital.  My surgery was done was my bariatric surgeon so everything they used on me was intended for a much larger person.  My gown was huge on me the, strecher they wheeled me to my room on was huge.  The whole time I was there all nurse keep saying how small I was. Even my Dr said I was thin at at one point and then added "er"  we all laughed.  I am still  obesse on the charts, but that is about nornal now days right?  LOL

Surgery Date

Jul 12, 2011

Heading out this morning to have my Gall Bladder removed, sure hope this is my last surgery for a while.  I really have no idea what expect for recovery.  I have heard everything from "I was fine the next day" to "the recovery was worse than the Gastric By Pass recovery"  Took all of next week off, so hopefully that will do it.  How much does a gall bladder weigh?  LOL

Dr with attitude!

Jun 21, 2011

After my visit to the UCC over the weekend I had to do a sonogram of my gall bladder and follow up with my PCP.  My PCP is out of town so I got to see an ass hole! He walked in the room ready to lecture me about my eating habits, fat chick with gall bladder problems.  Give the routine fix "lose weight"  Well that one doesn't work anymore ass hole!!!!  Tries to tell me to eat less FAT, I came back with I don't eat ANY FAT!!!  Well very little!!!!  Then told him about my by pass( proving he did not look at any of my records!!!  And it was all over after that he did not want to deal with me AT ALL insisted I go see my surgeon, even called the office with me there and passed me off. Since then I have found out that is pretty standard, no one wants to operate on someone who has had by pass, (which he would not have be doing any way) but he could have been nicer about it.  He was even pissy when he asked me how much I had lost and had attitude when he said "ALREADY!!"  Okay 20 pounds were pre op but I figure if I have a condition related to weight loss we should be dealing with the total lost right!?!??!  Any way so I was able to get into the surgeon tomorrow AM, if I make it that long, I have never had so much pain last for so long!
