At almost five years post op, I think that's a pretty normal amount to eat.

That amount sounds reasonable to me, given the time that has passed since Kelly's surgery. It sounds like a lot of carbs, but even that should be fine once in a while. and provided you are not prone to RH.

That's a bummer Kelly. Sorry.

It was way more carbs than I normally eat.  I went out for dinner.  I did not order my own dessert but my friend got cake and I ate some.  Not enough to make me dump, but enough to trigger the RH, I'm sure.  It was GOOD cake, though.

HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman.  I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way.  Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!

No.  I was actually getting ready to make a protein shake when it started.  By the time I finished my shake, I was fine.

Yeah, I probably would've got sick right away. I eat a couple of crackers and get sick!
